Established in May 2011, Max Protect is a family-run business situated in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Founded by Janis Krigens shortly after transitioning from his role as an operations manager, the venture was born from a singular objective: equipping professional detailers with elite surface care formulations and genuine technical support rather than off-the-shelf commodities.
Drawing upon extensive hands-on expertise across bodywork and detailing, Janis engineered solutions designed to perform faster and outlast prevailing industry standards. While application efficiency was a priority from inception, the core focus centered on uncompromising durability, intuitive application, and long-term maintenance ease – addressing the gap left by historical coatings that proved difficult to live with over time.
